A Season to Pause: Women’s Autumn Yoga Retreat With Heather Reeves
“As the leaves has fallen and nature softens into stillness, you are invited to step away from the demands of everyday life and enter a season of slowing down.”
- Founder, Viveka Vana Retreat Centre
A Season to Pause is a nourishing three-day retreat designed for women who are ready to exhale, reconnect with themselves, and embrace the wisdom of autumn — a season that reminds us that letting go is both natural and necessary.
Surrounded by the beauty of Northern Ontario, we will gather in nature to move, breathe, reflect, and restore. Through gentle yoga, meditation, restorative practices, and meaningful connection, you'll create space to release what no longer serves you and prepare yourself for the quieter season ahead.
This retreat is inspired by the feminine energy of autumn — the invitation to soften, trust, receive, and honor the natural cycles of life.
What To Expect
Gentle yoga & morning movement: Grounding practices designed to help you reconnect with your body and cultivate presence.
Roll & restore yoga: A deeply nourishing blend of myofascial release, restorative yoga, and nervous system regulation to ease tension and invite rest.
Gua sha self-care rituals: Learn simple self-massage techniques to support circulation, release stored tension, and create moments of intentional self-care.
Guided meditation & breathwork: Practices to quiet the mind, settle the nervous system, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
Nature-inspired oracle card sessions: Reflective rituals and journaling experiences inspired by the beauty and symbolism of the natural world.
Fireside conversations & community: Heart-centered discussions about slowing down, feminine energy, boundaries, self-compassion, and embracing life's changing seasons.
Sacred time in nature: Forest walks, quiet reflection, and opportunities to simply be — allowing nature to become both teacher and medicine.
Retreat Theme: Letting Go
Autumn teaches us that release is not loss. The trees do not cling to their leaves. They trust the next season. Together we will explore:
Releasing overwhelm and expectations
Letting go of old stories and patterns
Creating space for rest and restoration
Cultivating trust in the natural rhythm of life
